After working as subcontractors in the landscaping industry for many years, we saw firsthand how often outdoor spaces were built around the same familiar designs, without taking the time to consider the overall style and look of the home. We believed there had to be a better way. One where landscaping isn’t simply something added to a property, but a thoughtful extension of the home, its surroundings and the people who live there. We started Beauland Hardscape with this simple goal in mind. We wanted to create outdoor spaces that feel like they belong. Spaces that complement the aesthetics of your home, work in harmony with the environment and make your everyday life more enjoyable.

What to expect when you work with us.

Our approach begins with thoughtful design, but it doesn’t end there. We pay close attention to the fine details because we understand the importance of building with longevity in mind. That means every landscaping project will be completed with proper grading, drainage, structural reinforcement and soil preparation. Our team delivers quality craftsmanship while remaining committed to treating your property respectfully and communicating openly with you throughout the process.

Consultation

Every project begins with a free phone or Zoom consultation to learn more about your space, discuss your overall vision and determine whether an on-site visit is the right next step. During our consultations, we’ll discuss your budget, design preferences and the level of planning you’d like for your project. You’ll have the option to move forward with a professionally designed, 3D-rendered landscaping plan, or work from selections in our product catalogue and landscaping inspiration photos. Together, we’ll begin selecting the brick, plants and specialty features that will bring your vision to life.

Design

We’ll develop a detailed design based on the planning option that best suits your needs. For clients choosing a 3D-rendered plan, our experienced designer uses professional, industry-standard design software to create a detailed visualization of your proposed landscape. If you prefer to work from inspiration photos, we’ll provide product links for the specific landscaping materials we plan to use, along with a detailed project plan outlining the proposed installation. This option is often ideal for clients who already have a strong vision for their space, and we’ll supplement your inspiration with additional photos to help you visualize the materials, layouts and features we’re proposing.

Quote

Once your landscaping design and selections have been finalized, we’ll prepare a detailed quote for your project. Your quote will provide a clear breakdown of the proposed scope of work, helping you understand exactly what is included in your landscaping investment before moving forward.

Installation

With your project approved, our team will discuss the installation timeline with you and get to work bringing your landscape design to life. Throughout the process, we prioritize clear communication so you know what to expect as your project progresses. Our experienced team takes pride in being organized, respectful and mindful of your property and surrounding area. We keep the job site and street as clean as possible, use protective boards over grassy areas that experience significant foot traffic, and reseed any grass that is impacted by the installation before we leave the site.

Finishing

The finishing stage is where the final details come together to complete your landscape. This typically includes softscaping such as installing sod, adding enriched soil to garden beds, planting your selected plants and finishing beds with mulch. We’ll also install specialty features, such as outdoor lighting or custom fire features, to complete the space. To give you peace of mind, we allow clients to withhold 10% of the project cost until the finishing work is complete, giving you the opportunity to walk through your finished landscape and ensure you’re truly happy with the result.
